Much of the time we were working out of focus or just visually guessing at seeing, so it isn't recorded here; my guesses were mostly 1.5-2 arcseconds, but there were some in-focus images of better quality during second half. Work done tonight: - APOLLO APD lenslet optimization -- not complete. Possibility of further work tomorrow. - APOLLO IR camera alignment -- complete - Initial collimation check with Shack-Hartmann - Secondary and tertiary set according to autocollitor, then primary - adjusted to correct collimation, then fine collimation adjustment - using Shack-Hartmann - Large pointing model (no anomalies, small changes) - Az drive disk adjustment was not done becase AN/AW were already - small in the pointing model. - Test of effects of tertiary tilts on pointing models. - Test of directions of tertiary tilts on Agile - Test of spicam shutter behavior on and off sky, plus bonus investigation of spicam focus script bug. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 30 7 224 (SW) 602 clear none 17:00 41 30 3 254 (WSW) 547 clear none 18:00 39 29 1 256 (WSW) 692 clear none 19:00 38 28 5 2 (N) 693 clear none 20:00 39 28 5 4 (N) 502 clear none 21:00 39 27 5 31 (NNE) 495 clear none 22:00 37 26 3 340 (NNW) 428 clear none 23:00 38 26 9 360 (N) 524 clear none 00:00 41 24 7 37 (NE) 268 clear none 01:00 41 23 10 53 (NE) 209 clear none 02:00 41 25 10 85 (E) 266 clear none 03:00 40 25 8 92 (E) 301 clear none 04:00 41 25 4 138 (SE) 272 clear none 05:00 41 25 8 142 (SE) 234 clear none 06:00 40 26 5 154 (SSE) 312 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
