The boresight was off (on the left edge of slit instead of the center) from the echelle slit tonight. I temporarily fixed it for tonights observations. Humidity was high most of the night but we observed thru it since there wasn't any signs of precip (snow) around. Jeff didn't need SPIcam out of focus for his program so I didn't focus it for him. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:56 ECHELLE 298( -800) 122 59 -3.6 -2.2 -2.3 -3.1 -3.1 ND3 1.84 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 29 24 8 328 (NNW) 556 cloudy none 17:00 29 22 1 291 (WNW) 515 cloudy none 18:00 30 22 8 299 (WNW) 466 cloudy none 19:00 29 22 10 284 (WNW) 353 mstly cldy none 20:00 28 22 13 352 (N) 374 cloudy none 21:00 27 22 15 336 (NNW) 395 mstly cldy none 22:00 26 22 8 24 (NNE) 511 mstly clr none 23:00 26 20 18 9 (N) 450 mstly clr none 00:00 25 20 12 349 (N) 479 clear none 01:00 24 20 15 23 (NNE) 563 clear none 02:00 25 18 12 15 (NNE) 288 clear none 03:00 24 19 13 1 (N) 315 clear none 04:00 23 20 12 2 (N) 310 clear none 05:00 25 17 9 359 (N) 115 clear none 06:00 23 18 10 348 (NNW) 118 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
