TSPEC lost slit position displaying ??? three times. During which time it would respond to manual set.position of the wheel and would generally come back after a nub restart (or two). GCAM would stop without any signal (TUI reports its happy, no audio cue or error in log) and need communications restarted. This happened twice. We were running both gcam and dcam, with dcam in manual and guiding on gcam when this would happen. Russet took time at switch over, ~30 mins, to collect focus images for both DIS cameras. DIS ion pumps running high, both sides. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:50 TSPEC 103( 462) -61 59 -0.6 2.1 0.9 0.8 0.8 1.81 00:31 dis-slit 149( 66) 145 32 -1.3 -1.6 -1.4 -2.1 -1.7 1.31 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 32 18 7 343 (NNW) 468 clear none 17:00 30 17 3 36 (NE) 399 clear none 18:00 29 4 6 360 (N) 408 clear none 19:00 31 -12 12 319 (NW) 545 clear none 20:00 31 -6 2 340 (NNW) 404 clear none 21:00 30 -5 4 315 (NW) 492 clear none 22:00 29 0 5 267 (W) 382 clear none 23:00 29 5 2 229 (SW) 311 clear none 00:00 31 -9 11 333 (NNW) 542 clear none 01:00 29 -3 10 324 (NW) 635 clear none 02:00 28 4 8 345 (NNW) 467 clear none 03:00 29 -2 10 323 (NW) 550 clear none 04:00 29 1 6 359 (N) 509 clear none 05:00 29 7 10 6 (N) 336 clear none 06:00 30 7 12 6 (N) 366 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
