Oh! The Places You'll Go. We had about an arc second jump (06:40MDT, see DIS slit images 715 - 716). Alt was around 80.6 deg but I didn't see anything slip on the guide monitor, Status window or the Dataq T cell, which looked fine as well. Observer re-centered as they had just started an exposure. No telescope problems except for the jump noted above. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:08 dis-slit 393( 668) 12 57 10.9 13.5 12.1 12.3 11.8 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:00 58 37 19 192 (SSW) 444 clear none 18:00 54 36 7 189 (S) 414 clear none 19:00 52 35 13 167 (SSE) 452 clear none 20:00 51 35 20 131 (SE) 500 clear none 21:00 50 35 20 134 (SE) 536 clear none 22:00 49 34 18 129 (SE) 458 clear none 23:00 49 34 16 145 (SE) 460 clear none 00:00 50 31 12 137 (SE) 402 clear none 01:00 49 30 9 154 (SSE) 437 clear none 02:00 50 28 5 170 (S) 346 clear none 03:00 51 29 3 191 (S) 329 clear none 04:00 50 27 7 196 (SSW) 348 clear none 05:00 49 29 8 187 (S) 415 clear none 06:00 48 31 10 180 (S) 428 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
