Did not see ctrl+click issues. Tested Ctrl+click drag (no problems). Tested new center sel button (worked). Checked pointing at NA2 and corrected. Rough checked collimation with SPIcam Performed SPIcam tracking tests, this time 71 deg to 85 deg (didn't come off cell until 84.7 deg) and then back down. RA 22:56:08 Dec+37:40:22, (B1950 NOT J2000 Coords) Rotation Horizon, 60s exposures Images /Q4APO/UT101020/Tracking/ Just started coming off cell at 84.7 deg (image 44) transit image 48/49 I stopped the exposures after image 51 since we transited and the mirror was coming back on the T cell. Didn't come super far off the T cell but maybe 0.53v to 0.47V off the dataq We checked collimation with Shack-Hartmann. Collimation did not need correction. Checked pointing at Echelle, corrected error. Checked and corrected pointing at Agile. TR3 eyelid did not open in auto, had to open it in manual mode. Corrected pointing on Fastcam Fastcam data WRT000Alt60 started UT06:31:30 Changed to Echelle and focused, checked pointing one last time (it was off -59 in Y, only slightly in X) and corrected. After my observer finished I checked pointing at the Echelle again. This time it was off 122 in Y, only slightly in X), I corrected the pointing again. I slewed back to the star I used at the start of the echelle run and did a pointing correction there (after correcting above). This should use the same star as I used when I corrected the Echelle at the start of 2nd half. The correction, after correcting just prior to this slew, was 13 in Y, and -11 in X (same as I have seen in the last two corrections), so the Y tilt did indeed change over several hours. Used Joe's new nightlog generation program to generate this night log. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 dis-slit 304( 596) 85 70 8.6 11.1 9.8 9.7 9.5 -- 1.07 19:52 NA2gdr 1653(23653) 80 75 9.0 10.2 9.7 9.2 9.3 R 0.79 20:23 SPICAM 220( 681) 67 81 9.0 9.5 9.4 9.0 9.1 r' 0.73 20:25 NA2gdr 695(30695) 66 82 9.0 9.4 9.4 8.9 9.0 clear 0.82 22:32 SHACK -5( 820) 38 63 8.8 8.6 8.9 8.4 8.7 -- 1.40 22:54 ECHELLE 164( -593) 31 53 9.2 8.8 9.3 8.7 9.1 ND3 0.79 00:22 FASTCAM 214( 1059) 113 69 7.8 8.1 8.3 7.7 7.9 -- 1.10 00:54 ECHELLE 172( -623) 71 41 7.6 7.7 7.9 7.4 7.5 ND3 1.80 17:00 57 36 13 189 (S) 1407 clear none 18:00 52 33 11 205 (SSW) 1019 ptly cldy none 19:00 48 35 8 117 (ESE) 1014 ptly cldy none 20:00 49 31 17 138 (SE) 972 clear none 21:00 48 31 15 129 (SE) 978 clear none 22:00 48 32 14 129 (SE) 920 clear none 23:00 48 31 15 127 (SE) 814 clear none 00:00 47 35 14 111 (ESE) 1404 clear none 01:00 45 34 16 114 (ESE) 1301 clear none 02:00 46 35 16 131 (SE) 1205 mstly clr none 03:00 45 35 16 126 (SE) 1305 ptly cldy none 04:00 48 32 16 134 (SE) 836 ptly cldy none 05:00 48 32 18 129 (SE) 818 ptly cldy none 06:00 49 33 18 144 (SE) 971 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
