Huehnerhoff Before opening the humidity was changing rapidly, often but then settled before sunset. Towards the end of first half the humidity spiked suddenly. Except for brief period of low humidity it stayed high for the remainder of the night. First half user performed high altitude (87 deg) transit while observing (this was known ahead of time). PMSS looked good throughout, some small jumps while guiding but nothing out of the ordinary for such a high altitude transit. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:13 NICFPS 247( 613) 102 43 -0.4 2.9 0.6 1.5 1.3 MK-Ks 0.91 18:15 NA2gdr -1991(41008) 101 44 -0.7 2.8 0.5 1.4 1.2 clear 1.12 00:20 ECHELLE -75(-1228) 113 18 -2.9 -2.6 -2.2 -3.1 -2.8 clear 1.43 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 35 22 3 191 (S) 154 mstly clr humid 17:00 32 19 7 129 (SE) 147 mstly clr none 18:00 31 13 13 150 (SSE) 84 clear none 19:00 30 15 16 141 (SE) 70 clear none 20:00 28 15 12 167 (SSE) 51 clear none 21:00 28 15 11 178 (S) 49 clear none 22:00 28 20 10 183 (S) 261 clear none 23:00 28 21 7 199 (SSW) 317 clear none 00:00 28 22 11 183 (S) 307 mstly cldy humid 01:00 26 25 7 194 (SSW) 414 cloudy humid 02:00 26 25 12 199 (SSW) 21271 cloudy humid 03:00 26 25 15 189 (S) 237 cloudy humid 04:00 26 25 13 199 (SSW) 11750 cloudy humid 05:00 25 24 8 185 (S) 241 cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
