For the 2nd program I opted to use the Echelle only as the clouds were growing worse and was able to get a couple exposures of eAur before we got completely clouded out. I gave up at 04:30 with cloudcover and light flurries. No significant accumulation but more might be headed this way in the morning. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:42 TSPEC 67( -107) 77 50 -3.8 -1.9 -2.1 -2.6 -2.8 Ks 2.90 23:20 ECHELLE -30(-1285) -123 61 -2.7 -3.2 -2.8 -3.3 -3.0 ND3 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 30 14 22 263 (W) 1595 clear none 17:00 28 16 15 259 (W) 1033 clear none 18:00 25 16 13 261 (W) 762 clear none 19:00 22 17 6 267 (W) 858 clear none 20:00 24 16 10 263 (W) 827 clear none 21:00 25 14 8 261 (W) 615 clear none 22:00 26 12 8 262 (W) 415 mstly clr none 23:00 27 9 9 263 (W) 361 mstly cldy none 00:00 27 7 13 264 (W) 260 cloudy none 01:00 27 9 10 265 (W) 317 cloudy lt snow 02:00 26 17 10 251 (WSW) 1101 cloudy lt snow 03:00 25 21 11 261 (W) 710 cloudy lt snow 04:00 25 20 14 248 (WSW) 419 cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
