After midnight the sky cleared abruptly, so we were able to observe for the remainder of the night. There was one hang-up of the DIS slitviewer, likely due to colliding commands. Otherwise, the telescope and instruments behaved nicely. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:07 SPICAM 200( 94) 8 56 -0.7 0.7 0.6 -0.2 -0.0 i 0.95 00:51 dis-slit 253( -203) 122 64 -0.9 -1.2 -0.9 -1.5 -1.2 1.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 33 9 13 268 (W) 344 ptly cldy none 17:00 33 7 14 272 (W) 321 ptly cldy none 18:00 31 13 15 267 (W) 457 ptly cldy none 19:00 31 13 15 249 (WSW) 548 ptly cldy none 20:00 31 12 16 266 (W) 517 mstly cldy none 21:00 31 9 15 264 (W) 382 mstly cldy none 22:00 31 7 11 260 (W) 429 ptly cldy none 23:00 31 8 17 261 (W) 415 ptly cldy none 00:00 31 9 16 267 (W) 394 ptly cldy none 01:00 30 10 16 298 (WNW) 465 mstly clr none 02:00 29 11 10 266 (W) 506 clear none 03:00 28 11 10 302 (WNW) 463 clear none 04:00 28 11 14 274 (W) 460 clear none 05:00 28 9 14 315 (NW) 517 clear none 06:00 28 8 19 302 (WNW) 526 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
