We were mostly able to work through the clouds. When it was too thick for the second-half observer to work, I did some drop-in observations on a brighter target; I listed that at midnight for simplicity. Later the clouds thinned somewhat but still posed a little difficulty for observations. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:05 SPICAM 102( 147) 34 58 1.8 3.9 3.3 2.5 3.3 i 0.73 00:04 SPICAM 83( 27) 55 41 1.3 1.3 1.6 0.6 1.3 R 0.97 01:16 ECHELLE -103(-1123) 239 48 1.9 1.2 1.9 0.2 1.3 ND3 0.73 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 35 0 2 195 (SSW) 132 ptly cldy none 17:00 38 -7 3 262 (W) 41 ptly cldy none 18:00 37 -7 6 265 (W) 33 ptly cldy none 19:00 40 -4 2 257 (WSW) 38 ptly cldy none 20:00 39 -5 1 235 (SW) 39 ptly cldy none 21:00 38 -6 1 202 (SSW) 45 ptly cldy none 22:00 36 -9 3 148 (SSE) 44 ptly cldy none 23:00 35 -9 5 184 (S) 48 ptly cldy none 00:00 35 -9 3 137 (SE) 45 ptly cldy none 01:00 35 -9 2 131 (SE) 49 ptly cldy none 02:00 37 -7 7 134 (SE) 39 ptly cldy none 03:00 36 -8 7 88 (E) 34 ptly cldy none 04:00 34 -9 7 89 (E) 40 ptly cldy none 05:00 34 -10 7 128 (SE) 73 ptly cldy none 06:00 36 -8 7 171 (S) 58 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
