Seeing was fairly variable, bouncing between 0.8" to 1.6" in infrared. No telescope problems. Only instrument problem was an observer wanted to stop a tspec exposure halfway through and read out the existing data, but there was no option to do so, and thus he had to abort and lose the exisiting data. I edited existing PR 879 to see if a "Stop" button could be added to Tspec similar to what NICFPS has so the user can stop an exposure and read out the existing data. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:21 TSPEC 175( 944) 32 49 11.3 17.3 14.0 15.4 17.4 1.10 23:21 TSPEC 175( 699) 22 66 13.3 12.7 13.2 12.2 12.9 0.85 02:10 TSPEC 75( 549) 162 60 10.2 11.6 11.4 10.4 10.9 1.55 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 60 29 7 263 (W) 2404 clear none 17:00 65 33 8 265 (W) 2006 clear none 18:00 59 33 5 267 (W) 1735 clear none 19:00 53 38 7 88 (E) 2043 clear none 20:00 51 36 4 134 (SE) 2010 clear none 21:00 55 27 1 189 (S) 1698 clear none 22:00 54 22 8 169 (S) 755 clear none 23:00 56 21 6 185 (S) 716 clear none 00:00 56 19 8 193 (SSW) 779 clear none 01:00 54 21 7 152 (SSE) 863 clear none 02:00 51 25 5 115 (ESE) 1457 clear none 03:00 48 34 9 136 (SE) 2177 clear none 04:00 50 28 6 153 (SSE) 1971 clear none 05:00 55 24 9 185 (S) 1426 clear none 06:00 55 26 10 182 (S) 1185 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
