We closed when cloud cover appeared to be threatening and lightning strikes were under 25 km away. About 20 minutes after closing we did receive a short rain shower. We reopened at 23:00 for the rest of the night. Skies never stayed photometric for much more than 15 or 20 minutes at a time. No problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:21 TSPEC 103( 757) 124 38 12.4 14.7 13.5 13.7 13.4 Ks 1.00 01:12 SPICAM 75( 500) 207 69 12.0 11.8 12.2 11.5 11.8 r 1.01 01:15 NA2gdr -891(29108) 208 69 12.0 11.8 12.2 11.5 11.8 clear 1.01 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 56 40 7 298 (WNW) 531 clear none 17:00 56 38 3 353 (N) 653 clear none 18:00 56 41 7 294 (WNW) 765 ptly cldy none 19:00 53 41 9 328 (NNW) 722 mstly cldy none 20:00 54 40 10 273 (W) 630 mstly clr none 21:00 54 41 7 252 (WSW) 660 cloudy rain 22:00 53 43 3 354 (N) 576 ptly cldy none 23:00 55 39 9 255 (WSW) 579 ptly cldy none 00:00 54 38 8 282 (WNW) 621 clear none 01:00 54 39 9 303 (WNW) 554 mstly clr none 02:00 52 40 11 305 (NW) 633 mstly clr none 03:00 53 38 13 357 (N) 942 mstly clr none 04:00 53 38 2 96 (E) 969 ptly cldy none 05:00 52 38 6 15 (NNE) 1070 ptly cldy none 06:00 52 38 16 19 (NNE) 1350 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
