Cleared enough to open around 20:30; still struggled with passing clouds for a few hours but then cleared pretty nicely. Seeing was around 1.2" most of first half stabilizing around midnight to 1.0" or less into second half. Humidity became a problem second half and we had to close a little after 04:00. No problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:46 dis-slit -83( 214) 292 45 11.3 13.7 12.3 12.8 12.6 1.24 01:04 dis-slit 73( 189) 40 69 10.1 10.6 10.7 9.8 10.3 0.79 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 54 43 2 213 (SSW) 654 mstly cldy none 17:00 58 48 5 228 (SW) 1047 mstly cldy none 18:00 57 46 6 267 (W) 1017 mstly cldy none 19:00 54 46 6 265 (W) 895 mstly cldy none 20:00 52 44 2 253 (WSW) 932 mstly cldy none 21:00 53 42 4 274 (W) 1028 mstly clr none 22:00 51 43 6 263 (W) 1010 ptly cldy none 23:00 52 42 4 259 (W) 857 mstly clr none 00:00 52 44 5 259 (W) 979 mstly clr none 01:00 50 45 6 269 (W) 1086 mstly clr none 02:00 50 45 7 272 (W) 1175 clear none 03:00 50 45 5 271 (W) 1005 clear none 04:00 50 46 6 273 (W) 1170 clear humid 05:00 50 45 10 337 (NNW) 1321 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
