Closed at 22:22 with no break in sight on the satellite. Radar activity and high dust levels second half. In the brief time we were open, NA2 guider images seemed too dark. Cooler temp was not set at -25. Set temps, restarted nubs and power-cycled gmech and eventually the guider images looked normal again. The big flat screen weather monitor may be showing symptoms of going out. It flickered black a few times, not related to the screen saver, and would come back stretched or flattened for a moment and then fix itself. I'm not sure the problem is the monitor or the signal it's receiving from the mac. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:07 NICFPS 165(1192) 173 77 15.7 16.9 15.9 15.9 15.6 Ks 1.12 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 23 24 248 (WSW) 1247 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 22 19 265 (W) 1545 ptly cldy none 18:00 64 16 15 265 (W) 1670 ptly cldy none 19:00 64 17 21 267 (W) 1117 ptly cldy none 20:00 62 16 23 231 (SW) 1075 ptly cldy none 21:00 60 20 18 266 (W) 787 ptly cldy none 22:00 60 22 16 264 (W) 921 ptly cldy none 23:00 58 24 24 268 (W) 1172 cloudy none 00:00 57 23 17 262 (W) 1565 cloudy none 01:00 55 21 15 283 (WNW) 2044 cloudy none 02:00 54 20 8 276 (W) 3812 cloudy dust 03:00 53 19 14 291 (WNW) 4509 cloudy dust 04:00 52 23 23 272 (W) 3475 cloudy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
