We were able to open however clouds still presented a problem off and on all night. Lost about half of the night total due to overcast skies. Wind was from the East-South-East so seeing was moderate to poor tonight. No other problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:01 dis-slit -7( 383) 45 30 14.6 15.2 15.2 14.8 14.9 --- 1.59 01:31 SPICAM 30( 568) -134 73 13.7 14.1 14.2 13.5 13.7 V 1.92 01:33 NA2gdr -840(29159) -134 72 13.7 14.1 14.2 13.5 13.7 R 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 54 51 17 126 (SE) 997 cloudy rain 17:00 55 49 10 111 (ESE) 1219 mstly cldy none 18:00 59 48 9 127 (SE) 1450 ptly cldy none 19:00 59 51 11 125 (SE) 1420 ptly cldy none 20:00 58 49 9 129 (SE) 1432 ptly cldy none 21:00 59 48 11 133 (SE) 1331 cloudy none 22:00 59 46 12 118 (ESE) 1169 cloudy none 23:00 61 47 14 148 (SSE) 1144 mstly clr none 00:00 58 47 12 115 (ESE) 1199 mstly clr none 01:00 57 47 14 122 (ESE) 1444 ptly cldy none 02:00 57 46 12 116 (ESE) 1438 cloudy none 03:00 58 46 13 123 (ESE) 1438 cloudy none 04:00 58 46 11 110 (ESE) 1406 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
