Coughlin Had heavy clouds, high humidity, and rain all night and swamped by radar returns. Never opened. Observers took cals. I spent the night getting pinhole images with Agile and Spicam. After several agile rotator slews, I started getting servo-errors and could not recover. See PR #1005. Agile rotator is currently unoperational until fixed. I took the pinhole out of Agile. Currently filter wheel #3 is in spicam, (with one slot occupied by the 3" pinhole 'filter'), and wheel #2 is in Agile. The replacement DIS blue ion pump seems to be working well - temp has been holding at -95 all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 60 46 8 211 (SSW) 1119 cloudy lt rain 17:00 55 48 5 218 (SW) 1178 cloudy lt rain 18:00 52 49 1 182 (S) 1448 cloudy lt rain 19:00 51 49 3 138 (SE) 1350 cloudy lt rain 20:00 51 47 11 89 (E) 1260 cloudy rain 21:00 50 43 14 79 (E) 1359 cloudy rain 22:00 50 43 10 86 (E) 1256 cloudy rain 23:00 52 42 2 173 (S) 343 cloudy lt rain 00:00 52 42 0 258 (WSW) 553 cloudy none 01:00 49 46 13 135 (SE) 1094 cloudy lt rain 02:00 49 47 10 178 (S) 860 cloudy rain 03:00 49 48 7 189 (S) 682 cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
