We were able to open around 00:30, but first half couldn't use remaining time, so we began second half a little early. Just after 04:00 the wind increased and the dust levels shot up. There was a very strong smoke smell outside. Clicking Pause did not seem to stop the sequence. The Seq Status turned blue but continued to integrate. When the sequence was aborted using Agile via TUI it seemed to hang the agile expose. This needs to be tested further. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:01 AGILE 45( 41) -4 57 14.0 14.0 14.2 13.5 13.8 BG40 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 30 16 270 (W) 2665 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 27 7 264 (W) 2763 ptly cldy none 18:00 70 26 8 228 (SW) 2603 ptly cldy none 19:00 64 23 1 233 (SW) 2969 ptly cldy none 20:00 58 31 13 123 (ESE) 2653 ptly cldy none 21:00 57 31 16 141 (SE) 2776 ptly cldy none 22:00 55 34 13 143 (SE) 2718 ptly cldy none 23:00 55 32 4 170 (S) 2933 mstly clr none 00:00 58 28 6 224 (SW) 2834 clear none 01:00 57 28 12 191 (S) 2834 clear none 02:00 56 28 9 185 (S) 2604 clear none 03:00 53 30 1 183 (S) 2395 mstly cldy none 04:00 52 28 23 75 (ENE) 3584 mstly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
