Mostly clear skies most of the night with thin cirrus now and again. I may have seen a sudden axis halt like Jeff reported last night on the first slew after opening, but I'm not sure if something else happened. It cleared easily with an axis init, and did not repeat. I grabbed the associated TUI log output and sent it to appropriate parties. Otherwise no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:20 SPICAM -33( 373) 222 75 10.7 11.4 11.2 10.7 10.6 Ha 1.52 01:42 dis-slit 131( 138) 261 62 8.4 8.3 8.6 8.0 8.2 1.14 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 18 27 221 (SW) 857 mstly clr none 17:00 58 16 26 229 (SW) 926 mstly clr none 18:00 59 16 27 239 (WSW) 1587 mstly clr none 19:00 56 15 20 235 (SW) 1130 mstly clr none 20:00 53 18 29 214 (SW) 1525 mstly clr none 21:00 52 20 39 227 (SW) 1096 mstly clr none 22:00 51 21 27 217 (SW) 902 mstly clr none 23:00 50 21 21 222 (SW) 834 clear none 00:00 49 21 20 228 (SW) 826 clear none 01:00 47 21 19 259 (W) 1076 clear none 02:00 46 20 25 262 (W) 1718 clear none 03:00 44 19 15 248 (WSW) 1828 mstly clr none 04:00 44 20 16 274 (W) 1607 mstly clr none 05:00 41 21 18 270 (W) 1584 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
