We had several tour groups come through and look at the telescope and instruments. Unfortunately the weather would not allow us to open for on-sky observations with the eyepiece, except for the very first group before sunset, but all the tours seemed to enjoy their visit all the same. High winds, thick clouds and a little rain and snow... Second half rotator needed to be reset as per instructions form Fritz. First attempt didn't take, but Fritz logged in and was able to get it to reset. Agile left mounted for daytime calibrations. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 50 14 26 214 (SW) 1052 cloudy none 17:00 51 15 10 217 (SW) 1100 cloudy none 18:00 48 12 14 165 (SSE) 1133 cloudy none 19:00 46 13 25 144 (SE) 1404 cloudy lt snow 20:00 45 15 18 165 (SSE) 1350 cloudy none 21:00 42 18 27 150 (SSE) 1522 cloudy lt rain 22:00 41 27 27 166 (SSE) 1383 cloudy lt rain 23:00 40 21 26 125 (SE) cloudy none 00:00 40 32 27 180 (S) ptly cldy none 01:00 38 32 22 166 (SSE) ptly cldy none 02:00 42 28 22 192 (SSW) 690 mstly cldy none 03:00 41 28 23 157 (SSE) 541 mstly cldy none 04:00 41 28 20 180 (S) 443 mstly cldy none 05:00 41 29 25 170 (S) 503 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
