Winds stayed high, sometimes reaching 37 mph gusts during first half but we saw no ill effects facing away. Second half winds eased down but seeing blew up, ~3.0" often. TSPEC power supply switched during the day. Checkout darks look normal. First half observer took some characterization data for Agile during twilight. Pointing was good with both NA2 instruments. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:57 AGILE -150(-1209) 45 75 -7.8 -7.3 -7.0 -8.1 -7.9 B 1.50 01:25 dis-slit -31( -769) -118 34 -7.0 -7.7 -7.3 -8.1 -7.5 2.43 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 18 8 3 300 (WNW) 475 clear none 17:00 18 10 20 347 (NNW) 606 clear none 18:00 19 8 4 283 (WNW) 569 clear none 19:00 19 8 25 325 (NW) 446 clear none 20:00 17 8 6 19 (NNE) 515 clear none 21:00 18 6 21 9 (N) 503 clear none 22:00 18 7 19 25 (NNE) 508 clear none 23:00 19 8 28 20 (NNE) 388 clear none 00:00 19 7 9 19 (NNE) 402 clear none 01:00 19 8 22 19 (NNE) 380 clear none 02:00 20 6 14 358 (N) 302 clear none 03:00 21 6 17 9 (N) 290 clear none 04:00 21 6 15 10 (N) 274 clear none 05:00 21 6 12 13 (NNE) 329 clear none 06:00 21 5 31 6 (N) 286 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
