They were running TUI 1.5.1 Windows XP version. I first attempted to refresh their screen with a tlamps status command. When this didn't work I told them where to locate the TUIGeom file on their system. Once located, I had them delete it logout and back into TUI. This fixed the problem. It was an easier solution then trying to describe which line of the geometry file to correct. Weather tonight was elevated dust, clouds and later high humidity before and after light snow showers. Total accumulation likely less than a 1/4 of an inch here at the site. We never opened. I let the Gravometer engineering team work late into the evening. No other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 41 7 34 237 (WSW) 2531 ptly cldy none 17:00 42 5 30 254 (WSW) 2608 cloudy none 18:00 45 4 43 264 (W) 2530 cloudy dust 19:00 43 4 42 254 (WSW) 5628 mstly cldy dust 20:00 40 6 33 261 (W) 7144 ptly cldy dust 21:00 39 7 21 267 (W) 8845 ptly cldy dust 22:00 38 9 33 276 (W) 5637 ptly cldy dust 23:00 27 24 22 7 (N) 3182 mstly cldy humid 00:00 25 22 15 359 (N) 1146 cloudy humid 01:00 25 19 20 315 (NW) 1278 cloudy lt snow 02:00 22 21 21 344 (NNW) 934 cloudy lt snow 03:00 19 18 22 20 (NNE) 1096 cloudy lt snow 04:00 21 2 20 341 (NNW) 1486 clear humid 05:00 15 13 29 35 (NE) 729 clear humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
