Unfortunately I lost the focus information, but seeing was 0.8" in y, 0.6" in H. The focus numbers continue to be unusually negative; the guider focus numbers were normal. Checkout was rushed due to some difficulty with a new filter set, but we got on the sky at sunset and everything went smoothly from there. Pointing was good with all instruments. I did see the "broken pipe" error at one point when I tried to open the BC1 eyelid; a hub startNubs telmech followed by a telmech status cleared it up. APOLLO observations netted four reflectors, so a successful run. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 40 19 8 271 (W) 37 clear none 17:00 40 19 12 267 (W) 26 clear none 18:00 38 18 24 303 (WNW) 35 clear none 19:00 37 18 13 297 (WNW) 62 clear none 20:00 36 17 13 286 (WNW) 146 clear none 21:00 36 15 15 277 (W) 207 clear none 22:00 37 14 12 274 (W) 198 clear none 23:00 36 14 13 268 (W) 196 clear none 00:00 35 13 16 279 (W) 226 clear none 01:00 35 14 9 286 (WNW) 241 clear none 02:00 36 16 15 308 (NW) 197 clear none 03:00 37 15 17 318 (NW) 198 clear none 04:00 36 17 3 315 (NW) 177 clear none 05:00 36 15 10 343 (NNW) 195 clear none 06:00 36 14 12 21 (NNE) 246 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
