We attempted observations for a spell during the APOLLO time. The moon was the best target given the sky conditions. Pointing was good with APOLLO, seeing variable to poor, some tracking drift while pointing into the wind. We closed when even moon observations were not possible. Heavily overcast skies the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 49 4 16 181 (S) 356 cloudy none 17:00 48 3 13 175 (S) 280 cloudy none 18:00 47 4 21 155 (SSE) 475 cloudy none 19:00 48 5 23 173 (S) 377 cloudy none 20:00 48 5 17 154 (SSE) 488 cloudy none 21:00 47 5 23 144 (SE) 435 ptly cldy none 22:00 46 10 20 141 (SE) 683 ptly cldy none 23:00 49 9 24 173 (S) 809 cloudy none 00:00 47 10 20 163 (SSE) 860 cloudy none 01:00 45 14 16 149 (SSE) 878 cloudy none 02:00 47 11 14 180 (S) 1027 cloudy none 03:00 44 15 19 161 (SSE) 1041 cloudy none 04:00 46 8 17 180 (S) 613 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
