Huehnerhoff Heavy cloud cover with some holes but not enough to justify opening. A break in the clouds allowed opportunity to open and some science data was taken. Around 20:00MST the cloud cover became to thick to observe through and the telescope was closed. Light Snow starting around 4:00MST with humidity spiking around the same time. Noticed wandering of star in the azimuth direction at an az of 233 and an alt of 62. Star appeared to be moving around more than normal while guiding with the echelle slitviewer. This occurred at UT01:26. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:22 ECHELLE 0(-1152) 235 64 -1.8 -1.1 -1.6 -1.5 -1.6 clear 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 30 1 15 136 (SE) 155 mstly cldy none 17:00 29 0 19 129 (SE) 126 mstly cldy none 18:00 29 0 22 135 (SE) 121 cloudy none 19:00 28 -2 21 135 (SE) 108 cloudy none 20:00 29 -1 23 128 (SE) 116 cloudy none 21:00 29 -1 25 129 (SE) 137 cloudy none 22:00 28 5 24 136 (SE) 300 cloudy none 23:00 27 10 19 132 (SE) 476 cloudy none 00:00 27 14 19 122 (ESE) 616 cloudy none 01:00 25 16 22 151 (SSE) 719 cloudy none 02:00 25 18 14 157 (SSE) 841 cloudy none 03:00 24 18 22 136 (SE) 803 cloudy none 04:00 22 20 18 125 (SE) 1197 cloudy lt snow 05:00 23 21 10 143 (SE) 858 cloudy lt snow Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
