Huehnerhoff Zeroed the NA2 rotator during checkout. It was off by 0.063. Delayed opening due to thick cloud cover and high humidity. Humidity high (below closure limit) but stable at time of opening. First half was poor seeing but second half improved to sub arcsecond seeing. All instrument performed well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:25 dis-slit 287( -55) 8 57 -0.8 1.0 0.9 0.3 0.2 clear 1.51 23:27 dis-slit 128( -329) 103 46 -0.8 -1.6 -1.2 -2.3 -1.6 clear 1.61 01:01 SPICAM 172( -67) 112 71 -0.8 -1.8 -1.3 -2.2 -1.5 sdss g' 1.02 01:02 NA2gdr -421(29578) 112 72 -0.7 -1.7 -1.2 -2.1 -1.5 clear 0.97 03:24 dis-slit 144( -336) 11 75 -1.4 -1.6 -1.3 -1.9 -1.6 clear 0.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 33 24 10 257 (WSW) 464 mstly cldy none 17:00 32 25 11 211 (SSW) 493 mstly cldy humid 18:00 31 25 8 187 (S) 488 mstly clr none 19:00 30 25 15 238 (WSW) 465 clear none 20:00 30 23 14 238 (WSW) 427 clear none 21:00 31 17 19 263 (W) 506 clear none 22:00 31 17 13 266 (W) 548 clear none 23:00 30 15 12 300 (WNW) 606 clear none 00:00 29 14 10 265 (W) 670 clear none 01:00 31 10 16 278 (W) 632 clear none 02:00 30 13 14 288 (WNW) 620 clear none 03:00 30 17 9 283 (WNW) 607 mstly clr none 04:00 30 20 15 270 (W) 570 mstly clr none 05:00 29 22 13 265 (W) 684 mstly clr none 06:00 29 23 14 265 (W) 582 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
