Many systems still powered down in case power is still not reliable. SPICAM and Agile came up relatively easily. We struggled with bringing back gcam and TSPEC. TSPEC is not on but reconnecting the hub started the monitor alarms. The TSPEC ICC is powered on but the software has not been stated or connected to TUI. At 19:50 we closed due to thick clouds. During that time I investigated the few images we manged to get before clouds shut us out. The stars in the NA2 guider and SPIcam images were all streaked in the Az direction. The telescope believed it was tracking properly; I was seeing no warnings or errors. We also power cycled the GPS antenna during this time. While closed I reset both axis controllers and re-inited everything. When skies did clear enough to open and I got on sky the streaking was solved. Rest of the night everything went smoothly. Note: the alt axis limit seems to still be set at 87. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 36 9 12 270 (W) 278 ptly cldy none 17:00 33 0 15 252 (WSW) 345 ptly cldy none 18:00 31 4 16 266 (W) 601 ptly cldy none 19:00 31 10 11 253 (WSW) 715 mstly cldy none 20:00 31 8 13 280 (W) 687 cloudy none 21:00 31 11 12 276 (W) 753 mstly clr none 22:00 31 11 16 275 (W) 705 mstly clr none 23:00 32 13 10 286 (WNW) 782 mstly clr none 00:00 31 16 8 271 (W) 890 mstly clr none 01:00 31 19 14 268 (W) 1070 mstly clr none 02:00 31 22 16 268 (W) 1074 mstly clr none 03:00 30 22 18 273 (W) 961 mstly clr none 04:00 30 22 19 280 (W) 1137 mstly clr none 05:00 30 19 16 267 (W) 1043 mstly clr none 06:00 30 17 10 267 (W) 1158 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
