Power was out and the generator wasn't feeling very well, so UPSs failed at least once. Phones were out except for two landlines; even cell phone service was behaving very strangely. Internet was out, including LANs, so computers weren't talking to each other and weather information wasn't recorded. The sky was clear for most or all of the night, but there was high humidity and LOTS of blowing snow, so opening would not have been possible even if everything were working. We managed to recover some systems that were affected by the UPS failures, but others still remain to be checked out Wednesday. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
