I don't think it was the star was too dim tonight as I increased the exp and the s/n was decent. Star just wanted to drift like the boresight offset corrections weren't being used. Pointing was good enough for TSPEC but not for APOLLO. We re-homed the tertiary for APOLLO. No problems otherwise, and pointing was very close after the telescope was homed (it wasn't too far off before with TSPEC anyhow) ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:53 TSPEC 116( 632) -4 56 10.2 12.3 11.3 11.2 11.2 Ks 1.10 01:14 TSPEC 122( 470) -64 35 9.1 8.3 8.8 7.3 8.3 Ks 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 54 18 9 226 (SW) 836 ptly cldy none 17:00 52 13 6 189 (S) 910 ptly cldy none 18:00 50 -2 9 182 (S) 352 ptly cldy none 19:00 50 12 7 181 (S) 547 ptly cldy none 20:00 50 4 5 181 (S) 264 ptly cldy none 21:00 49 17 9 159 (SSE) 732 ptly cldy none 22:00 47 17 5 108 (ESE) 657 ptly cldy none 23:00 48 11 10 175 (S) 488 ptly cldy none 00:00 48 6 9 179 (S) 331 ptly cldy none 01:00 47 10 14 159 (SSE) 472 ptly cldy none 02:00 47 7 12 171 (S) 340 ptly cldy none 03:00 46 10 12 145 (SE) 394 ptly cldy none 04:00 45 10 15 133 (SE) 374 ptly cldy none 05:00 44 14 15 154 (SSE) 421 ptly cldy none 06:00 43 16 12 159 (SSE) 529 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
