Seeing was mostly poor, especially at the beginning of the night, but occasionally improved. APOLLO had a little trouble with a bad prediction but managed to recover and get usable data anyway. SPIcam and DIS worked well. I did have to make a moderate correction to tertiary tilts to fix pointing, but after that it was very consistent. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 01:40 dis-slit 114( 38) 73 40 5.4 6.0 6.0 5.5 5.7 - 1.50 18:34 SPICAM 45( 70) 42 48 2.1 3.2 3.0 2.1 2.5 r 1.60 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 41 11 5 218 (SW) 832 ptly cldy none 17:00 37 8 13 214 (SW) 901 ptly cldy none 18:00 38 9 11 266 (W) 1134 ptly cldy none 19:00 35 14 11 254 (WSW) 1450 mstly clr none 20:00 37 11 18 275 (W) 1011 clear none 21:00 38 12 17 267 (W) 928 clear none 22:00 38 15 18 267 (W) 972 clear none 23:00 39 14 16 279 (W) 1082 mstly clr none 00:00 38 14 14 274 (W) 1084 ptly cldy none 01:00 39 13 8 291 (WNW) 1109 ptly cldy none 02:00 39 14 12 314 (NW) 1149 ptly cldy none 03:00 37 14 18 267 (W) 1242 ptly cldy none 04:00 37 14 9 281 (W) 1124 mstly clr none 05:00 36 14 6 269 (W) 1104 clear none 06:00 36 8 20 316 (NW) 1000 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
