No apparent source but we have a NE wind and my guess is it is coming from the fireplaces in Sunspot. There also was a prescribed burn today N of Alamogordo (Calico Peak) DIS blue ion pump again running a little high (all night) No telescope problems. Primary should be CO2 cleaned today due to smoke event last night. ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:04 SPICAM -59( 26) 28 69 3.0 4.8 3.9 3.5 3.5 r' 1.10 18:08 NA2gdr 937(30937) 26 69 2.7 4.6 3.7 3.3 3.3 R 0.86 21:09 dis-slit -48( -340) -68 52 1.3 1.9 2.0 1.3 1.3 -- 1.05 21:13 NA2gdr -1711(20288) -69 51 1.1 1.9 1.9 1.1 1.3 R 1.30 23:55 dis-slit 78( -301) -40 39 -0.5 -0.2 -0.1 -1.2 -0.6 -- 1.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 40 10 7 355 (N) 1120 clear none 17:00 38 10 11 10 (N) 814 clear none 18:00 37 10 17 45 (NE) 937 clear none 19:00 36 13 19 63 (ENE) 1259 clear dust 20:00 35 13 20 73 (ENE) 77319 clear dust 21:00 34 15 18 71 (ENE) 1666 clear none 22:00 33 17 17 74 (ENE) 1219 clear none 23:00 32 17 13 79 (E) 1594 clear none 00:00 31 18 11 85 (E) 1910 clear none 01:00 32 17 9 84 (E) 1191 clear none 02:00 32 17 12 72 (ENE) 1037 clear none 03:00 32 15 14 73 (ENE) 877 clear none 04:00 31 15 15 66 (ENE) 1019 clear none 05:00 31 11 18 59 (ENE) 790 clear none 06:00 32 8 13 59 (ENE) 629 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
