We were able to open for a couple of hours during a thin patch in the clouds second half, but when the wind and clouds moved in again we had to close. The DIS slitviewer needed to be restarted at the beginning of the night, but after that everything worked well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 01:40 dis-slit 114( 38) 73 40 5.4 6.0 6.0 5.5 5.7 - 1.50 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 45 33 13 250 (WSW) 1533 mstly cldy none 17:00 43 32 14 253 (WSW) 1471 mstly cldy none 18:00 44 32 18 256 (WSW) 1393 mstly cldy none 19:00 45 32 16 259 (W) 1253 mstly cldy none 20:00 46 32 16 236 (SW) 1265 mstly cldy none 21:00 45 31 7 210 (SSW) 1503 mstly cldy none 22:00 44 32 18 201 (SSW) 1465 mstly cldy none 23:00 45 32 21 242 (WSW) 1451 mstly cldy none 00:00 44 33 15 258 (WSW) 1472 mstly cldy none 01:00 43 33 16 227 (SW) 1466 ptly cldy none 02:00 41 34 17 262 (W) 1355 ptly cldy none 03:00 41 34 21 266 (W) 1346 ptly cldy none 04:00 40 34 21 264 (W) 1287 ptly cldy none 05:00 40 34 21 264 (W) 1256 mstly cldy none 06:00 41 34 28 257 (WSW) 1011 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
