Zero'ed NA2 rotator Pointing Model completed 02:50:37 read timed out on port LTA4 error, Alt controller Error. during middle of pointing model. Same problem I saw last night but tonight a little more severe. Alt was not responding to either TUI or talk2boxes. Needed to power cycle the controller tonight to get it working again. 05:54 servo error too large on Az axis. Azimuth Axis stopped Clouds were too thick to get much other than a pointing model done. Rain was also showing up to our west as well. Rain sensor went off around 04:45 and I shut down for the night. I spent most of the night working on the Wiki pages (interpreting pointing model data/plots and removing bad data points from the models). ------------- FAILURE LOG -------------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:25 GUIDER 184( 699) 51 39 10.9 12.8 11.5 11.8 11.8 R+ND2 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 59 12 16 282 (WNW) 1090 ptly cldy none 17:00 56 9 4 277 (W) 995 ptly cldy none 18:00 57 11 8 263 (W) 1073 ptly cldy none 19:00 52 11 11 227 (SW) 1268 ptly cldy none 20:00 50 12 15 226 (SW) 1693 ptly cldy none 21:00 51 11 17 209 (SSW) 1698 ptly cldy none 22:00 51 10 19 236 (SW) 1830 ptly cldy none 23:00 52 8 15 258 (WSW) 2203 mstly cldy none 00:00 52 14 12 259 (W) 1844 mstly cldy none 01:00 52 15 12 265 (W) 1765 cloudy none 02:00 51 14 12 257 (WSW) 1816 cloudy none 03:00 49 15 12 240 (WSW) 2007 cloudy none 04:00 50 16 15 268 (W) 1948 cloudy lt rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
