Since there was no threat of moisture, we didn't close until around 2am, but no science was able to be obtained after 10pm, so I've marked all time after 10pm as lost due to weather. At 5am humidity rose above closure limits so the observers called it a night. GFP had minor problems, including the return of the bit-flip problem, but did not result in loss of science time. No telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:53 dis-slit 248( 571) 42 28 11.9 13.6 12.6 12.4 12.7 1.50 20:35 dis-slit 48( 256) 15 38 11.4 11.7 11.7 10.9 11.3 1.25 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 58 40 14 264 (W) 397 mstly clr none 17:00 59 41 22 273 (W) 456 mstly clr none 18:00 56 39 21 237 (WSW) 458 clear none 19:00 53 32 16 265 (W) 311 mstly clr none 20:00 53 32 15 250 (WSW) 357 ptly cldy none 21:00 53 34 13 249 (WSW) 434 mstly cldy none 22:00 52 35 13 261 (W) 427 cloudy none 23:00 52 35 21 263 (W) 562 cloudy none 00:00 51 38 14 241 (WSW) 629 cloudy none 01:00 51 39 16 248 (WSW) 612 cloudy none 02:00 49 41 14 238 (WSW) 764 cloudy none 03:00 48 42 12 245 (WSW) 744 cloudy none 04:00 48 42 18 266 (W) 792 cloudy none 05:00 47 44 14 259 (W) 880 cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
