The remainder of the night seeing was moderate to good with improving sky transparency. Nicfps behaved well as did pointing and tracking. No problems. The occultation observations went well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:19 APOLLO -150( 825) 89 33 5.9 8.8 7.9 7.3 6.2 -- 1.80 18:57 NICFPS -147( 351) -55 76 5.0 6.1 6.2 4.9 5.0 Ks 0.55 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 44 13 11 344 (NNW) 108 ptly cldy none 17:00 43 12 16 339 (NNW) 158 ptly cldy none 18:00 42 13 12 355 (N) 103 mstly cldy none 19:00 41 17 11 338 (NNW) 90 ptly cldy none 20:00 42 16 14 330 (NNW) 100 ptly cldy none 21:00 42 16 15 335 (NNW) 105 ptly cldy none 22:00 43 16 19 303 (WNW) 103 clear none 23:00 42 15 17 301 (WNW) 122 ptly cldy none 00:00 42 11 12 285 (WNW) 128 clear none 01:00 40 14 8 267 (W) 180 clear none 02:00 42 13 19 273 (W) 111 clear none 03:00 42 9 19 276 (W) 74 clear none 04:00 41 10 16 275 (W) 84 clear none 05:00 41 7 21 275 (W) 107 clear none 06:00 40 8 17 265 (W) 112 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
