Front moving in during second half bringing precipitation. Radar returns in the county after 03:00. Pointing with the Echelle and DIS was strangely off (between 1-2 arc min) when it had been fine first half with Nicfps (as well as the previous day with DIS). Magna sensor errors were not high, only difference seemed to be moving the tertiary. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 20:09 NICFPS -102( 148) -32 42 0.5 0.5 0.8 0.3 0.5 MK-H 0.90 23:17 ECHELLE -174(-1254) 15 59 0.3 0.3 0.6 0.1 0.4 0.93 00:29 dis-slit -93( -498) 31 62 -0.2 -0.2 0.1 -0.5 -0.3 1.76 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 35 11 14 198 (SSW) ptly cldy none 17:00 33 13 16 184 (S) mstly cldy none 18:00 32 14 10 180 (S) cloudy none 19:00 34 7 19 203 (SSW) cloudy none 20:00 33 9 17 201 (SSW) cloudy none 21:00 31 11 16 156 (SSE) ptly cldy none 22:00 33 7 22 180 (S) mstly clr none 23:00 34 9 21 196 (SSW) mstly clr none 00:00 31 8 14 211 (SSW) mstly clr none 01:00 30 11 15 198 (SSW) mstly clr none 02:00 27 12 13 186 (S) cloudy none 03:00 28 15 12 199 (SSW) cloudy none 04:00 27 15 17 228 (SW) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
