Piointing checked at 01:00, Anjum said pointing seemed fine earlier but we had a short time slot where I could check it and found it was off. TIP-Tilt Corrections +262 XTILT, -577 YTILT Anjum reported that the pointing was spot on after the correction. A little windy 2nd half of the night but the seeing improved also improved during the later half. We remained open although the gusts were a little over the limit, we were not pointed into the wind and the mirror seemed fine. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (STEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:52 NA2gdr -211(10788) -36 52 -6.9 -5.3 -5.4 -6.7 -6.8 R 3.70 18:54 AGILE -400(-1350) -36 52 -6.9 -5.4 -5.4 -6.8 -6.8 BG40 3.70 20:39 AGILE -175(-1191) 112 37 -7.3 -7.2 -6.8 -7.8 -7.4 BG40 4.70 22:50 AGILE -25(-1111) 107 63 -7.5 -7.9 -7.5 -8.4 -7.7 BG40 2.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 23 5 27 341 (NNW) 986 clear none 17:00 22 0 13 339 (NNW) 151 clear none 18:00 21 4 25 352 (N) 271 clear none 19:00 20 1 11 29 (NNE) 253 clear none 20:00 19 2 16 340 (NNW) 290 clear none 21:00 19 4 18 10 (N) 211 clear none 22:00 18 4 12 356 (N) 208 clear none 23:00 18 2 27 6 (N) 200 clear none 00:00 17 0 30 48 (NE) 196 clear none 01:00 31 -14 27 32 (NNE) 242 clear none 02:00 29 -16 29 24 (NNE) 288 clear none 03:00 27 -18 37 18 (NNE) 319 clear none 04:00 29 -9 21 46 (NE) 594 clear none 05:00 30 -13 18 7 (N) 472 clear none 06:00 28 -3 29 22 (NNE) 433 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
