Agile problems at the start of the night, solved by end of twilight. Rebooted instrument solved problem due to power glitches a couple days prior. Seeing was excellent all night with sub arc sec seeing for all 1st half and most of 2nd. Miscommunication/misunderstanding during Echelle/NICFPS change-over led to a 30 min wild goose chase trying to solve a non-existant problem. Apollo got good returns tonight. Hopefully this log will go thru before my browser crashes on me again. Focus data was lost due to the loss of the night logs earlier. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 58 46 0 188 (S) 1435 pt. cldy none 19:00 54 45 8 132 (SE) 927 pt. cldy none 20:00 54 43 5 109 (ESE) 1055 mst. clr none 21:00 54 42 12 136 (SE) 1021 clear none 22:00 53 44 15 128 (SE) 1197 clear none 23:00 53 44 15 132 (SE) 1184 clear none 00:00 51 45 12 112 (ESE) 1311 clear none 01:00 54 41 5 93 (E) 1134 clear none 02:00 55 38 6 87 (E) 798 clear none 03:00 55 37 6 84 (E) 826 clear none 04:00 55 36 1 102 (ESE) 766 clear none 05:00 53 39 5 0 (N) 868 clear none 06:00 53 37 11 83 (E) 767 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
