Photometric until the last few hours of the night. At 04:15 (UT10:15) the Rotator Controller rebooted itself. Fritz had reverted back to an earlier version of the software in the afternoon. It this is a bug in the code it appears to be common to both versions. I was able to recover within 4 minutes however the error occured 6 minutes into an exposure. Therefore I counted 10 minutes lost. No other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JH08 D T/S 04:10 04:20 Rot Cntrl rebooted, LTA5 timeout ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 dis-slit 159( 434) 0 77 9.8 13.7 10.8 12.0 10.6 - 1.19 19:46 NA2gdr 1063(23063) -6 76 9.9 13.3 10.8 11.7 10.5 R+nd2 0.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 57 44 9 239 (WSW) 497 clear none 17:00 58 43 8 217 (SW) 537 clear none 18:00 54 42 7 245 (WSW) 484 clear none 19:00 51 41 5 187 (S) 512 clear none 20:00 49 40 6 159 (SSE) 597 clear none 21:00 50 38 2 185 (S) 663 clear none 22:00 51 36 2 231 (SW) 649 mstly clr none 23:00 50 38 2 194 (SSW) 655 ptly cldy none 00:00 48 39 6 181 (S) 696 clear none 01:00 48 39 7 191 (S) 709 clear none 02:00 48 36 3 190 (S) 777 ptly cldy none 03:00 49 39 7 293 (WNW) 689 ptly cldy none 04:00 49 39 9 334 (NNW) 804 clear none 05:00 47 40 6 355 (N) 998 clear none 06:00 48 41 9 351 (N) 1630 clear none TELESCOPE STATUS Telescope drives operational.
