Dembicky Az Velicity Scale measured 581.0 was 580.0 No Change After tracking one object for most of the night I had a large magna-sensor error in Altitude when we slewed to another object. Errors were at 29.8 (-13.2'), 29.3 (13.34'), and 44.3(13.44') consecutively. I did a couple slews to clear the errors. A VERY successful night for the GFP. Those folks were very pleased with their results from the 3.5m tonight. Clouds most of 2nd half but things cleared out a bit as the night came to a close. We were open for most of the 2nd half, even though there were quite a few clouds. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SAEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:28 GFP 100(927) 6 57 15.9 17.2 16.9 16.6 16.1 Ha 1.0 21:31 NA2gdr -416 (34000) 5 57 15.8 17.1 16.9 16.5 16.0 clear 0.92 22:20 GFP 160(842) -7 31 14.9 16.0 16.0 15.0 15.0 Ha 1.3 00:05 GFP 200(826) -32 23 14.7 14.7 15.1 13.8 14.5 6716 1.6 02:00 DISslit 53(360) 89 65 14.9 14.4 14.8 14.0 14.6 -- 1.21 02:04 NA2gdr 204(22000) 88 66 15.0 14.4 14.8 14.0 14.6 clear 0.86 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 66 47 2 213 (SSW) 1763 cldy none 17:00 65 47 5 197 (SSW) 1638 cldy none 18:00 64 44 2 215 (SW) 1490 cldy none 19:00 65 41 4 123 (ESE) 1142 cldy none 20:00 64 41 5 170 (S) 1380 cldy none 21:00 62 44 13 132 (SE) 1632 clear none 22:00 60 47 18 127 (SE) 1945 clear none 23:00 58 46 16 134 (SE) 2350 clear none 00:00 58 45 7 150 (SSE) 2260 clear none 01:00 60 45 7 191 (S) 1914 cldy none 02:00 59 45 12 212 (SSW) 1709 cldy none 03:00 59 46 7 203 (SSW) 1718 mst. cldy none 04:00 58 46 11 193 (SSW) 1637 pt. cldy none 05:00 57 49 11 180 (S) 1796 pt. cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
