Dembicky Russet caught the echelle warming in the afternoon and got it filling again. Not sure why it wasn't auto filling, it was trying but the fill times were very short (4s) or strange (-710s). She just happened to be up in the dome this afternoon when it attempted a fill and turned itself off a couple seconds later (which prompted Russet to check the temps.). PR was submitted. Not sure of what this warming cycle will bring. The temps during the night seemed to stabalize around -96C. Nick is aware of the problem and will be monitoring the temps during the daytime. Obs-specs should keep an eye out for low LN2 consumption as a first sign of a possible problem. User had a problem getting slit images. Recieved a http forbidden error. Gabrelle saw this a few months back and it souonded like the same problem, but no solution given. see PR#599 ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SAEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:55 DISslit 101(510) 272 61 -- -- -- -- -- -- 1.29 21:36 DISslit -10(317) 269 62 13.1 15.0 14.7 14.0 13.2 -- 1.3 00:56 DISslit -3(182) 242 25 11.3 11.9 12.2 11.1 11.3 -- 1.04 03:23 DISslit 53(252) 265 71 14.6 12.3 13.1 11.9 13.8 -- 1.21 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 65 50 2 250 (WSW) 2754 cldy none 19:00 61 45 4 111 (ESE) 2314 pt. cldy none 20:00 60 44 14 82 (E) 2269 mst. clr none 21:00 57 45 12 88 (E) 2252 clear none 22:00 55 49 19 114 (ESE) 2820 clear none 23:00 55 48 10 93 (E) 2676 clear none 00:00 54 48 12 70 (ENE) 2661 clear none 01:00 53 48 9 90 (E) 2614 clear none 02:00 53 47 13 49 (NE) 2609 clear none 03:00 59 34 5 269 (W) 1907 clear none 04:00 57 35 9 81 (E) 2126 clear none 05:00 56 37 9 82 (E) 2240 clear none 06:00 55 39 8 87 (E) 2356 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
