We've had more than 5 inches of rain in the last 30 hours, nearly doubling the total for July (a wet month already). With humidity reported at 105% and multiple leaks in the dome, I wasn't even comfortable opening the mirror covers to do test slews or laser testing. I did some minor work in the dome and more bookkeeping. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 53 54 12 185 (S) cloudy rain 17:00 53 54 28 167 (SSE) cloudy rain 18:00 54 55 20 194 (SSW) cloudy rain 19:00 53 54 23 216 (SW) cloudy rain 20:00 53 54 21 194 (SSW) cloudy rain 21:00 53 54 25 207 (SSW) cloudy rain 22:00 54 55 20 223 (SW) cloudy rain 23:00 54 55 25 230 (SW) cloudy rain 00:00 54 55 18 231 (SW) cloudy rain 01:00 53 55 19 208 (SSW) cloudy rain 02:00 53 55 17 206 (SSW) cloudy rain 03:00 54 55 19 225 (SW) cloudy rain 04:00 53 55 18 250 (WSW) cloudy rain 05:00 53 54 22 222 (SW) cloudy rain Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
