Dembicky Az Velocity scale 578.7 Alt Velocity scale -632.8 A very frustrating night of clouds and patches of passing "sucker holes" thrown in just to make things even more frustrating, and even those "sucker holes" weren't all that "clear" at times. We had a large mass of clouds just off to our east almost all night long and with the humidity near or above 80% all night and being radar blind to our East, I didn't feel safe enough to open under these conditions. I did a manual fill of the Echelle shield at 20:00 and again at 04:00 when I closed for the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 67 51 14 270 (W) 388 Pt. cldy none 17:00 68 53 9 217 (SW) 396 Pt. cldy none 18:00 65 50 10 254 (WSW) 456 cldy none 19:00 63 51 7 263 (W) 421 cldy none 20:00 61 53 6 264 (W) 648 cldy none 21:00 60 52 7 265 (W) 484 cldy none 22:00 60 51 10 231 (SW) 469 cldy none 23:00 60 51 11 224 (SW) 430 cldy none 00:00 59 52 8 211 (SSW) 565 cldy none 01:00 60 53 13 209 (SSW) 745 cldy none 02:00 58 52 9 202 (SSW) 668 cldy none 03:00 58 52 8 234 (SW) 496 cldy none 04:00 58 52 7 270 (W) 489 cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
