We had nearby lightning the end of first half. No precip. We opened at the start of Apollo time under somewhat marginal conditions. While Russet was setting up I was able to get an engineering measurement at TR2 for Nick. The skies gradually improved after an hour and 4 reflectors were measured during twilight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 71 38 9 260 (W) 1716 mstly cldy none 17:00 74 39 6 273 (W) 1695 ptly cldy none 18:00 69 38 12 263 (W) 1621 ptly cldy none 19:00 70 38 7 260 (W) 1485 ptly cldy none 20:00 67 38 7 263 (W) 1407 ptly cldy none 21:00 63 39 1 214 (SW) 1600 ptly cldy none 22:00 63 38 4 108 (ESE) 1756 mstly cldy none 23:00 63 38 9 142 (SE) 1719 mstly cldy none 00:00 57 42 20 165 (SSE) 1082 ptly cldy none 01:00 56 44 22 133 (SE) 1313 mstly clr none 02:00 57 43 22 136 (SE) 1202 mstly cldy none 03:00 57 43 19 143 (SE) 1248 ptly cldy none 04:00 58 41 14 162 (SSE) 1446 ptly cldy none 05:00 59 41 12 176 (S) 1511 mstly clr none 06:00 58 42 12 178 (S) 1575 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
