Dembicky Clouds closed us for a few hours around 00:00. We had a couple raindrops but not enough to even wet the sidewalk. We re-opened around 02:15. We seemed to have a lot of problems with the TSpec Slitviewer locking up around 04:00. It kept giving us a On-field-Defering and lock. restarting the tcam quickly fixed the problem but it kept coming up anywhere from 2-5 frames to a min or so into exposures (1.2s, 2s, and 5s exposures were being used). We must have had 20+ lockups in about as may minutes or less. A scan of defering in the night log I think will show when we had problems. After about 04:30 the problems seemed to go away on their own. We didn't do anything differently. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SAEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:58 TSlit -25(1008) -87 44 21.7 22.9 22.5 21.3 21.7 Ks 0.75 02:32 TSlit -10(785) 207 70 18.4 18.3 18.5 17.7 18.1 Ks 0.9 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:00 79 26 8 256 (WSW) 799 Pt.
