NICFPS was fine at checkout but then when first half observer tried to take darks the files were all zeros. Took several round of nub restarts and inits to get the exposures to process properly. Also during first half some vertical streaking was seen on the NA2 guider (see dcam images 011 and after). Relevant info was added to PR 829. However, during second half with AGILE the NA2 guider produced no streaking - Until dcam1702 or so, then it showed up again. The gcamera temps were -17.6 all night. Also for second half, we had some trouble sorting out the proper passwords and passphrases for AGILE logins. At 04:45 observer typed ctrl-c at a "safe" place on nimble and lost communications to the machine. I tried to login various ways and was unsuccessful. Nimble had to be power cycled. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UW03 P I/S 04:45 05:10 Communications to nimble lost ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 21:03 NICFPS -31( 1248) 163 68 20.3 22.0 21.1 20.2 19.4 H 1.14 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 75 20 14 265 (W) 1041 clear none 17:00 78 24 12 219 (SW) 1162 clear none 18:00 77 24 10 263 (W) 1253 clear none 19:00 75 21 14 249 (WSW) 1375 clear none 20:00 70 18 6 268 (W) 1265 clear none 21:00 69 17 8 217 (SW) 1299 clear none 22:00 68 18 7 184 (S) 1500 clear none 23:00 68 18 8 189 (S) 1642 clear none 00:00 68 18 12 232 (SW) 1659 clear none 01:00 67 18 11 216 (SW) 1712 clear none 02:00 65 19 12 187 (S) 1809 clear none 03:00 63 22 4 175 (S) 1749 clear none 04:00 64 25 9 180 (S) 1770 clear none 05:00 63 24 10 176 (S) 1620 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
