Winds and dust also passed closure limits a few times in the early evening. Clouds began clearing around 01:00, but radar returns were moving across the top of the county so we waited until 02:10 to open. Thin cirrus hung around most of second half, and dust levels increased again. Local networking issues were resolved before 12 degree twilight. Both tertiary moves tonight were smooth. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 54 10 20 256 (WSW) 4098 mstly cldy none 17:00 55 13 16 224 (SW) 3011 cloudy none 18:00 56 17 23 261 (W) 2229 cloudy none 19:00 56 18 23 242 (WSW) 2591 cloudy none 20:00 54 18 20 240 (WSW) 2680 cloudy none 21:00 54 16 23 261 (W) 2489 cloudy none 22:00 52 19 23 236 (SW) 6011 cloudy dust 23:00 52 18 29 264 (W) 3609 ptly cldy dust 00:00 51 17 22 264 (W) 2742 ptly cldy none 01:00 50 16 24 269 (W) 2428 mstly clr none 02:00 48 21 17 284 (WNW) 2525 mstly clr none 03:00 48 21 17 272 (W) 2834 mstly clr none 04:00 47 20 19 289 (WNW) 3541 mstly clr dust 05:00 47 18 20 283 (WNW) 4867 mstly clr dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
