Although we had surprisingly good seeing for these conditions. We continued to observe until 01:40 when the clouds were too thick and the dust levels outside were getting uncomfortably high. Could not open again. No telescope problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 19:42 SPICAM 132( 456) 223 62 7.6 9.5 9.8 8.2 7.6 1.16 21:51 SPICAM 153( 457) 230 42 9.6 8.7 9.5 8.6 9.2 1.03 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 55 9 15 208 (SSW) 2925 clear none 17:00 53 9 16 229 (SW) 2894 mstly clr none 18:00 54 11 11 207 (SSW) 3284 mstly clr dust 19:00 51 11 13 187 (S) 3098 mstly clr dust 20:00 45 11 11 197 (SSW) 3265 mstly clr dust 21:00 46 11 9 218 (SW) 3616 mstly clr dust 22:00 48 9 12 244 (WSW) 3796 ptly cldy dust 23:00 49 5 13 271 (W) 3281 ptly cldy dust 00:00 47 8 9 228 (SW) 3600 ptly cldy dust 01:00 47 10 9 182 (S) 4406 mstly cldy dust 02:00 46 8 11 200 (SSW) 4658 mstly cldy dust 03:00 47 9 13 192 (SSW) 5079 mstly cldy dust 04:00 45 11 8 175 (S) 5554 mstly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
