We opened with dust over the limit and humidity flirting with closing us down. Seeing was over 3" most of the time, at best 2.3" or so. We closed around 04:25 when humidity was >75% and dust >4700 cts. Conditions remained erratic the rest of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 23:23 dis-slit 9(-91) 206 42 5.4 5.6 5.8 5.2 5.1 3.60 01:53 dis-slit 202( 9) 314 69 4.3 4.2 5.2 3.9 4.2 2.30 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 43 36 18 268 (W) 5050 ptly cldy dust 17:00 45 35 20 241 (WSW) 3856 ptly cldy dust 18:00 48 35 18 231 (SW) 4672 ptly cldy dust 19:00 47 33 9 263 (W) 5377 mstly clr dust 20:00 42 34 3 276 (W) 5196 mstly clr dust 21:00 41 32 5 273 (W) 5384 clear dust 22:00 43 30 8 273 (W) 5775 clear dust 23:00 43 29 11 277 (W) 4966 clear dust 00:00 42 29 17 235 (SW) 4599 clear dust 01:00 40 30 11 279 (W) 4571 clear dust 02:00 40 29 13 274 (W) 4509 clear dust 03:00 40 30 3 285 (WNW) 4704 clear dust 04:00 38 31 12 266 (W) 4596 clear dust 05:00 39 31 16 272 (W) 4835 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
