So we opened and tried running alternate fan/louver configuration until dust levels had risen above tolerable levels. We closed around 22:00. With all the dust over the weekend it would be good to have the mirrors cleaned tomorrow. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 19:04 APOLLO 100(1290) -9 69 11.4 14.1 13.5 13.4 11.7 1.20 20:13 dis-slit 144( 336) 35 67 11.6 12.1 12.6 11.2 11.5 1.01 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 61 17 10 245 (WSW) 4183 mstly clr none 17:00 62 17 14 242 (WSW) 3929 mstly clr none 18:00 59 15 19 210 (SSW) 3265 mstly clr none 19:00 56 14 17 214 (SW) 3461 mstly clr none 20:00 53 13 14 195 (SSW) 3679 mstly clr dust 21:00 53 14 9 187 (S) 5296 mstly clr dust 22:00 53 15 16 196 (SSW) 6426 mstly clr dust 23:00 54 17 19 193 (SSW) 6969 mstly clr dust 00:00 53 17 20 194 (SSW) 6485 mstly clr dust 01:00 53 21 21 195 (SSW) 5986 ptly cldy dust 02:00 52 21 20 203 (SSW) 4985 ptly cldy dust 03:00 52 16 15 258 (WSW) 4680 ptly cldy dust 04:00 51 12 12 225 (SW) 4968 ptly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
