No change made. We opened for the first few hours until clouds became too thick. There was evidence that we had precip headed our way in our radar blind spot from the east by looking at Satellite images, weather radar out of El Paso and Cannon AFB. We never had the oppurtunity to reopen. I spent the night working on fastcam reductions. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SAEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:46 dis-slit -87(-499) 33 75 -2.8 -0.2 -0.5 -1.1 -2.0 -- 1.98 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 34 0 21 265 (W) 857 ptly cldy none 17:00 31 -2 17 246 (WSW) 687 ptly cldy none 18:00 30 -1 13 267 (W) 666 ptly cldy none 19:00 29 -1 9 285 (WNW) mstly cldy none 20:00 27 -1 11 309 (NW) mstly cldy none 21:00 27 -3 6 292 (WNW) 594 cloudy none 22:00 27 -1 5 305 (NW) 593 cloudy none 23:00 27 -1 1 334 (NNW) 640 cloudy none 00:00 26 -1 8 2 (N) 791 cloudy none 01:00 27 -3 19 18 (NNE) 497 cloudy none 02:00 27 -5 13 15 (NNE) 500 cloudy none 03:00 27 0 8 55 (NE) 862 cloudy none 04:00 27 -3 24 17 (NNE) 730 cloudy none 05:00 27 -4 16 26 (NNE) 520 ptly cldy none 06:00 26 -4 21 36 (NE) 552 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
