CU folks made prior arrangements to divide up the night into four observing periods (CU03, CU04, DD04, then CU04). DIS slitviewer produced the sudden “faux lamps” as it has in the past (see dcam images 180-184), restarting the nubs fixed it. No time lost. No real problems. Echelle seems to be functioning normally as well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM ----------------------------------------------------------------- 18:43 dis-slit -67( -267) 146 63 -0.4 1.9 0.9 0.9 -0.2 1.34 02:55 dis-slit -1( -349) -135 75 -0.9 -1.0 -0.4 -1.3 -1.0 1.31 04:45 SPICAM 3( -166) -172 64 -1.5 -1.7 -1.0 -2.1 -1.8 0.80 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------- 16:00 35 3 7 263 (W) 600 mstly clr none 17:00 34 5 15 219 (SW) 730 mstly clr none 18:00 31 5 8 212 (SSW) 848 clear none 19:00 31 7 13 204 (SSW) 811 clear none 20:00 32 9 15 251 (WSW) 669 clear none 21:00 32 9 15 264 (W) 1070 clear none 22:00 33 11 12 265 (W) 580 clear none 23:00 32 11 11 269 (W) 777 clear none 00:00 32 12 16 271 (W) 661 clear none 01:00 32 11 14 268 (W) 486 clear none 02:00 31 12 14 269 (W) 386 clear none 03:00 30 13 15 268 (W) 374 clear none 04:00 30 12 16 267 (W) 359 clear none 05:00 30 13 17 267 (W) 388 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
